Jackfruit Yogurt Panna Cotta with Strawberry Coulis

When i saw this recipe at sig site something is forced me to give a try..The recipe is turned out well.Here is the mouthwatering jackfruit panncotta.


Ingredients:
For jackfruit puree:
Jackfruit in syrup - 1 20 oz can
sugar - 2tbsp
water - 1/2cup

Pannacotta:
Heavy cream - 250ml
vanilla yogurt - 200ml
sugar -1/2cup
cardoman powder - 1/4tsp
vanilla essence - 2drops
unflavored gelatin - 1tbsp

Strawberry coulis:
strawberrys - 1/4cup
Lime juice - 2tbsp
sugar - 1tbsp
water or milk - 1/4cup

Method:

Jackfruit puree:
Drain the water from jackfruit cut into small pieces ,cook jackfruit with water and suger til jackfruit gets soft,tranfer into plate let it cool for sometime then grind it to finepaste.

Pannacotta:
Prepare gelatin as per the instruction given in the pocket.
In a same saucepan add cream,vanilla essence,cardoman bring to boil and simmer it to 10-15 mins on low heat.Add softend gelatin to the cream mixture and stir it till gelatin dissolved.
Meanwhile in a bowl mix jackfruit puree,yogurt and sugar,whisk it to till form a smooth mixture.
Add jackfruit mixture into cream mixture,beat well to combine then Pour into ramekins or dessert molds. Chill in the refrigerator for at least three hours or till set.

Stramberry coulis:
Blend all the ingredients in a blender till smooth and Chill and serve.

Serve:
In plate pour chilled strawberry coulis , place the pannacotta over the coulis and decorate with some sliced strawberrys and jackfruits.
