Jeera Rice



You Need:

Cumin or Jeera - 2tsp
Any rice - 2cup
Green chilli - 2
Mint - 1/4bunch
coriander leaves - 1/2bunch
Salt - as needed
Saffron water - 2tsp

Method:

Heat oil or butter in a pan or cooker,add cumin seeds into it allow it to splutter ,then add green chilli,mint and coriander leaves add water into it(For 2cup rice =4cup of water).Bring it to boil the water add soked rice and salt into boiling water.If u r cooking in a pan cook 75% with high flame reduce the heat for last 25% of cooking ,After 75% add sum saffron water to the rice cook it with low flame and swich off or if u r cooking at pressure cooker maintain the medium heat add saffron water after adding rice swich off as per your cooker whistle.Jeera rice goes very well with any kind of curry.
